Atmospheric Advent time at the Rosenburg!
On two weekends in Advent, Rosenburg Castle opens its doors to one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Lower Austria. This year’s market once again offers a program for young and old, Christmas concerts, craftsmanship and tradition as well as the finest culinary delights.
Craftsmanship and the finest cuisine
Waldviertel artists and craftspeople present their work and their special skills in the atmospheric rooms of Rosenburg Castle. Visitors get the unique opportunity to look over the shoulders of the artisans, e.g. at show turning or fire painting. Culinary huts with their Christmas delicacies, as well as our castle tavern and our restaurant Schlossgasthof provide for the physical well-being. The library invites with coffee and cake to a cozy stop.
Varied supporting program
The Rosenburg brass quartet creates a festive atmosphere. A fairy-tale paper theater and concerts take place in front of the open fire.
The traditional special demonstration by our falconry will once again feature the “birds of prey of the north”!
Charity punch stand “Hilfe im Eigenen Land”
Once again this year, personalities will be serving punch for a good cause. The proceeds of the donation will go to the aid organization “Hilfe im eigenen Land”.
