Can I take my dog with me?
Dogs are welcome guests at our place! We would only like to ask you to keep the dogs on a leash! Dogs with an increased risk potential according to § 2 of the Lower Austrian Dog Keeping Act and conspicuous dogs according to § 3 Lower Austrian Dog Keeping Act must also be secured with a muzzle.
Is the castle barrier-free?
The castle is partially barrier-free.
Information for people with walking disabilities / wheelchair users!
Disabled parking spaces are available. The walk to the main entrance is about 50 meters.
The Renaissance castle Rosenburg is a historic complex. Unfortunately, not all of our offers are barrier-free. Due to the monument protection, there are no ramps or lifts. The museum rooms can only be reached via steps.
The following areas and offers of the Rosenburg can be reached barrier-free: Birds of prey flight demonstration (via the side entrance, please let the cash desk know), Falconry Museum (caution, there are two steps here), guest garden, castle tavern, castle inn, barrier-free toilets in the castle courtyard, at the parking lot and in the castle inn.
Does the falcon show also take place when it rains?
The falcon show will take place in light rain. If there is a stronger thunderstorm, the falcons cannot fly!
Where can I park?
The parking lot for cars and buses is opposite the entrance.
Is there a restaurant nearby?
The castle tavern in the courtyard of the castle and the castle inn opposite the castle entrance offer a variety of food and drinks.
Are guided tours also offered?
We are happy to offer guided tours on the opening days at 9:45 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
