Atmospheric Advent time at the Rosenburg!
On two weekends in Advent, Rosenburg opens its doors to one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Lower Austria. This year the market once again offers readings in front of the fireplace, Christmas concerts, craftsmanship and tradition as well as the finest cuisine.
One feels put back in time
Waldviertel artists and craftsmen present their works and their special skills in the atmospheric rooms of Rosenburg Castle. Visitors get the unique opportunity to look over the shoulders of the artisans, e.g. at show turning or fire painting. Culinary huts with their Christmas delicacies, as well as our castle tavern and our restaurant Schlossgasthof provide for the physical well-being. The library invites with coffee and cake to a cozy stop.
Varied supporting program
The Rosenburg Wind Quartet will provide a Christmas atmosphere. Selected readings and concerts take place in front of the fireplace.
The already traditional special demonstration of our falconry shows also this year the “Birds of prey of the North”!
Charity punch stand “Help in our own country
This year, personalities will once again put themselves at the service of the Good Cause and serve punch for the good cause. The proceeds of the donation will go to the aid organization “Hilfe im eigenen Land”.
