Cookies (websites)

Schloss Rosenburg websites may use “cookies” to recognize multiple uses of our services by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are text files that your Internet browser places and stores on your computer. They serve to optimize our Internet presence and our offers. These are mostly so-called “session cookies”, which are deleted after the end of your visit.

However, in some cases, these cookies provide information to automatically recognize you. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. The information obtained in this way is used to optimize our offers and to provide you with easier access to our site.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Server data (web pages)

For technical reasons, among other things, the following data that your Internet browser or mobile device transmits to us or to our provider/server is recorded (so-called server log files):

– Browser type and version
– Operating system used
– Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
– Website you visit
– Date and time of your access
– Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and thus does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person. Data is analyzed in anonymized and aggregated form.

Consent newsletter

With regard to the use of your personal data to receive our newsletter, you will be asked for consent at the appropriate point. With the newsletter we inform at regular intervals about our offers. To receive our newsletter, you need a valid email address. We will check the e-mail address you have entered to ensure that you are indeed the owner of the e-mail address provided or that the owner is authorized to receive the newsletter. With your registration to our newsletter, we will save your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This serves as a safeguard on our part in the event that a third party misuses your e-mail address and subscribes to our newsletter without your knowledge. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site also does not take place.

Newsletter tracking

Our newsletters contain so-called tracking pixels (web bugs), which enable us to recognize whether and when an email was opened and which links in the email were followed by the personalized recipient.
We store this data so that we can optimally tailor our newsletters to the wishes and interests of our subscribers. Accordingly, the data thus collected is used to send personalized newsletters to the respective recipient. With the revocation of the consent to receive the newsletter, the consent to the aforementioned tracking is also revoked.

Data transmission:
The transmission of all information of an app takes place via a secure, encrypted connection (https). When you use our apps, in general, all data communicated between the app and the server, as well as position data and usage statistics, may be stored and processed.

Data storage:
We process data on servers that may be operated at various locations around the world. We may therefore process your data on a server that may be located outside the country in which you live and/or outside the European Union if you live in a member state of the European Union. In this regard, we take all reasonable steps to ensure that your information is secured and used as described in this Privacy Policy.

Please note that for full functionality of individual apps, permissions may need to be accepted on your mobile device:

GPS: This permission is needed to display your position in the app and to list points of interest nearby.

Memory: Access to the memory of your mobile device is used to access specific features of the app, such as favorites or content storage to enable offline operation.
Photos are stored locally only, are not passed on by us to third parties and cannot be viewed by the operator. We are not liable for sending, sharing on social media or otherwise distributing the photos.
